Toshiba laptops will soon be branded Dynabook, following the purchase of Toshiba’s PC business by Sharp and parent company Foxconn (maker of around 40% of consumer electronics worldwide). Toshiba laptops have been sold under the Dynabook label since 1989 in Japan, where it is the country’s most popular domestic PC brand. The new name is being rolled out globally. As part of the rebrand, Toshiba Client Solutions ANZ Pty will become Dynabook ANZ Pty, following the lead of parent company, Dynabook Inc. What does this mean for you?Your existing Toshiba warranties, support and supply arrangements with The Laptop Company remain unchanged. Similarly, Dynabook local operations and Tier 1 manufacturer status remain the same. With the backing of the world’s largest electronics supply chain, we expect to see continued growth and innovation, as well as enhancement of the Dynabook product range. We look forward to delivering your first new Dynabook laptops and tablets soon. See the Dynabook range at The Laptop Companywww.laptop.co.nz/dynabookComments are closed.
