Toshiba laptops will soon be branded Dynabook, following the purchase of Toshiba’s PC business by Sharp and parent company Foxconn (maker of around 40% of consumer electronics worldwide).
Toshiba laptops have been sold under the Dynabook label since 1989 in Japan, where it is the country’s most popular domestic PC brand. The new name is being rolled out globally.
As part of the rebrand, Toshiba Client Solutions ANZ Pty will become Dynabook ANZ Pty, following the lead of parent company, Dynabook Inc.
