Packaging
The majority of devices we supply are packaged in uncoated cardboard for easier recycling. We encourage the use of recycled fibres in product packaging. We recommend devices that do not use expanded polystyrene packaging, as this cannot be readily recycled within New Zealand. Bulk packaging is available to fleet buyers for selected brands and models. This reduces the amount of packaging waste per device, and the shipping volume for each device, to reduce transport-related emissions. Enquire with your account manager for availability from the factory.
We also offer an optional packaging recovery and recycling service for bulk delivered devices.
For public sector agencies, the proportion of recyclable packaging for each computer product is disclosed on Gen 3 quotations, our latest catalogues and on our online product information portal.

Freight
Sea freight can save as much as 97% in CO₂ equivalent emissions compared to air freight between the factory and New Zealand. To reduce transport related emissions, we offer sea freight as a delivery option. We also offer the option of bulk freight between our warehouses and your organisation, reducing freight movements and road traffic within New Zealand.
Environmental certifications
We disclose essential ECO information about each of the computer products we supply to government in our quotations, catalogues and on our online product information and procurement portal. This includes the Eco certifications achieved by each product, and the percentage of recyclable packaging used for each device. This is in addition to comprehensive device specifications.
